Why RTITB Certification?

RTITB is a UK-based road transport institute used by the Healthy  & Safety Authority (HSA) in preparing the Code of Practice (CoP) for Forklift Driver Training and is one of only three organisations with HSA accreditation. So we supply an RTITB Certified Trainer and issue driver certificates from a RTITB-certified training centre. We consider this important as many other training organisations offer certification which could be challenged in a Court as not conforming to the HSA CoP.

AIM & OBJECTIVES

Certified training for experienced Operators requiring fork truck training and covering key operating elements and safety practices.  It concludes with Approved RTITB Practical Test and Certification.

The standard Course relates to driving conventional counter-balanced trucks.  Additional training is required where certification on reach trucks and other more advanced fork trucks is concerned.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Experienced operators and all staff likely to be called upon to drive/use a fork truck. Both new and experienced fork truck drivers.

Also those requiring Re-certification of their RTITB or other fork truck driving certification.
