 The course, which is conducted as a Public Course or at the client's site, meets the requirements of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act, 2005, General Application Regulations 2007, the HSA Guidelines on First-Aid at Places of Work (May 2008) and of insurance companies. It is also FETAC Certified.

The Course, which emphasises practical skills throughout, provides approx. 21 hours of training, including 2 hours examination. LOCATION & DURATIONThis is a 3-day course, which is delivered on site at the participant’s place of work and using your own equipment. The programme can be delivered in half-day modules or at a weekend if work requirements so demand. CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORSThis Course is delivered by a Certified Occupational First-Aid Instructor and examination administered by a second certified Instructor. Under their joint authority Certification for this Course is issued. CERTIFICATION - FETAC AWARDAll participants who successfully complete this course, including practical and written demonstration of the competencies learned, will receive Occupational First-Aiders Certificates of 2-year’s validity [as per new HSA Guidelines]. |
